Ping Wu

Founder, Orient Express
Urban visionary and one of the founders of the
Orient Express, Ping Wu defines
entrepreneurial commitment to both cuisine
and community. Her Red Pepper & Silver spring Sichuan Bistro
are quickly becoming Towson dining landmarks
while her Tea Horse Bistro is the social heart of
Ellicott City. In the Chinese community, Ms.
Wu is affectionately known as “Sister Ping.”
She has been a strong advocate for women’s
health issues, such as, breast cancer and
domestic violence.
